Interviewed multiple game developers during DreamHack Dallas 2025. The attendees was able to play these games at the Indie Playground booths and we documented those interactions to assemble these promotional videos, which were sent to the game developers after the conclusion of the event.
Faeland - Talegames
Faeland is a 2D action RPG and Metroidvania-style platformer developed by TaleGames, featuring beautifully hand-crafted pixel art and fluid animation. You play as Sam, a young hunter whose journey begins after his home is attacked by monsters, leading him into a sprawling fantasy world filled with dangerous dungeons, mythical creatures, and powerful magic.
Dono's Tale - Super Item Studios
Dono’s Tale is a colorful, retro‑inspired action platformer from Super Item Studios, where you play as Dono, a hungry little dragon on a quest to recover his stolen fruit. Packed with 16‑ and 32‑bit style visuals, the game emphasizes tight platforming mechanics—jumping, dashing, climbing, and shooting fireballs—while letting Dono unlock new abilities like wings, claws, and electrical dashes to explore ever more creative level designs.
Sol Mates - Daruma Games
Sol Mates is a chaotic, sci‑fi co‑op roguelike adventure by Daruma Games, designed for up to four players (local or online). You and your crewmates run a scrappy space agency, steering the ship, managing shields, putting out fires, and fighting off threats like space pirates and giant alien crabs. The game mixes handcrafted missions with procedural twists so that no two runs feel quite the same.
